As directed by Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge , School Education Department , Govt. of West Bengal , the Council has discarded 30-35% of the H.S syllabus in all the subjects for H.S Examination ,2021  

Covid-19: No selection tests for candidates of Bengal boards' class 10, 12 exams in 2021: Mamata Banerjee These students will be allowed to appear for Madhyamik (class 10) and Uchcha-Madhyamik (class 12) exams directly, Banerjee told reporters after a Cabinet meeting. "Students could not go to schools due to Covid-19 pandemic. The education department has taken a decision that those willing to take the 2021 Madhyamik and Uccha-Madhyamik exams will not require to clear any test. They will be allowed to sit for these (two) examinations," she said.
